When you read an Amazon review, the writer is not really trying to inform the reader as much as they are trying to sell you something. They will discuss the positive as well as the negative of the product.

Amazon reviews are really intended to convince the customer that the product is worth spending money on choosey deals. Many customers today are more concerned with what other customers have to say about a product. That’s why, if you want to sell something online, you can use Amazon reviews as a selling tool.

Amazon reviews should be written clearly and honestly. Be careful not to write a glowing review just for the sake of it. You need to sell a product, but you need to give the customer the reason to buy the product. Amazon doesn’t want to have too many positive reviews for a product. It would be very negative and they would then ban the customer. On the other hand, too many negative reviews would also be a downer and they wouldn’t want that either.

When you read reviews online, remember that it’s not about you. It’s all about the customer. Be honest and up front with the customer. If you know anything about the product or company you’re reviewing, share that information. The customer doesn’t want to read reviews that are only for you and don’t give them any helpful information about the item.

The customer will get frustrated if they continually have to read product reviews that aren’t written by the buyer themselves. They don’t want that. The customer wants value for their money and they’ll search until they find it. They don’t like reading reviews that aren’t really written by anyone but the company.

To increase your chances of getting more Amazon reviews, you should write reviews for the same product, but from an objective point of view. Instead of writing about your own opinion, why not write reviews from a customer’s point of view?

If the product has good reviews, then the customer may very well be biased in their reviews, but if the product has bad reviews then maybe the customer isn’t that biased. Reviews are written from the customer’s perspective, not the bias of the company or vendor.
